Check out the other entries for this week's theme over at I Heart Faces

It's a new day and a new way of life since my Step-Dad's passing. The service for my Dad was Saturday and it was beautiful! I'm not going to linger in sadness, but I'm going to greet this change with a positive attitude. I know that God has a special plan for all of us!
Come back to my blog tomorrow and play along with Toot Your Horn Tuesday. Click here for instructions. I hope you'll join me!
Seems like I haven't visited I Heart Faces in forever.
I stopped by this morning and discovered that this week, all cameras are aimed at
FEET
So, here we have several feet captured on film. Actually, this is funny because there are very few pictures of me in our family photo albums! At least my kids will know I was there. Or maybe they'll just look back in 50 years and say
"Who's feet are those?!"
And it's Monday! Get your Toot Your Horn Tuesday posts ready and come back tomorrow!!
I'm not exactly a beginner, because I've been taking pictures of my children for almost 17 years, but I'm definitely an amateur!! Here's one of my favorite pictures ever. It's Glynis (last summer) looking like she's posed for an Ivory commercial.
I am submitting this photo into the www.iheartfaces.com Blurb Book photo contest. I am granting I ♥ Faces permission to use my photo in a printed version of a book for commercial use and possibly advertising of a photo book on both the Blurb and I ♥ Faces web sites.
One of my favorite places to be with Glynis is our trampoline....
2 entries this week for the I Heart Faces Photo Challenge.
Here's the kid entry, Glennie & Me:
And the adult entry is just me:
By the way, that's me holding the camera for both photos! I used Picasa for editing. Love that simple program by Google!
"The Incredible Sulk"
This is my lame entry to the weekly I Heart Faces photo contest. The theme this week is "green." Something in the picture has to be green and special props go out to St. Patrick's Day themed photos. Since I wasn't feeling very creative today and Glynis wouldn't cooperate, I just made the whole picture green. :)
Wednesday I'm posting a Spontaneous Thought Explosion. So start thinking, write something and come back to link up!
Here's goes my second post to the I Heart Faces Photography Contest. This week's theme is "Messy" so since it was bath night, I let Glynis eat Spaghettios with her hands. That was easy except that although I scrubbed and scrubbed her face, she still has a little orange glow on her cheeks.
The cool thing about this weeks submission is that the I Heart Faces Site is hosting a beginners contest for us "click and shoot" people. I like to think that I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to taking pictures, but actually I have no idea what apeture means nor do I know what most of the settings on my camera are for. I do have a photo editing program on my computer, but I mostly just use it for red eye and cropping. So tell me what you think of this photo. The winner of this contest will be awarded an online photo editing program. I'd love to win it, but I'd be equally happy just to learn a little something about picture taking.
