Photostory Friday - cooking lesson

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

It seems that Glynis is always the subject of my pictures! Here's one of my other kids for a change. (The boys mostly try to avoid my camera)
Chandler asked me to teach him how to make pancakes. He did a splendid job. He was so very proud of himself. I cherish these kinds of moments. They are so rare these days. Chandler is 11 years old. He needs me less and less.

YES!! Tha smile reminds me of my 11 year old boy...sometimes it may seem like I only have 2 girls but the boy avoids the camera so I dont get much of him and the princess, well Im home with her all day so she is always my subject.
But I too have those moments when it just us and it really is great.

They do grow up fast and stop needing us for everything. I'm glad you had a special pancake moment together!

Mmmm, pancakes! I think my faves are banana with cinnamon and whipped cream on top.

TGIF!

We love pancakes in our house. Our always include chocolate chips ... they are just too good to eat only one.

The pancakes look yummy! Good for Chandler to learn to cook.... My husband cooks most of our meals, although I am getting better at it.

What a handsome young man! My boys used to put away the pancakes when I fixed them! I would have a hard time saving a couple for myself!

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us!

Blessings...
