Have you ever seen anything like this? This is how my daughter wakes up most mornings. Don't know whether to use a comb or a weed wacker!

Oh My!
I hope there won't be to many tears untangling. She sure is a sweetie!

I'm all too familiar with this look. I just wrote an email to friends for suggestions and a crazy picture of my little one's hair.

The biggest help has been using a pick instead of a comb and to use TONS of conditioner after shampooing. Curls are so much more manageable that way.

Hope this helps!

This is so funny. My daughter has super curly hair too. Have you ever heard of It's a 10? I love the leave in conditioner. I spray it in, comb and then let it dry naturally and her hair doesn't frizz. Even after she sleeps on it. It's the first time she can go 2 days without at least re-wetting and re-applying products. Hope it helps your little one.

For YEARS, when my girls were little, I think they had a permanent rat's nest I tried to hide.

The only other choice- combing it out- seemed cruel and unusual for all of us!

LOL ... poor little thing. We have thin, flat hair around here.

Even with all that birds nest, she is a doll. My girls had straight hair so I would guess...use a pick and some detangle spray?

I think my mom kept my hair short for reasons like this... though mine wasn't at all curly.

There are people who pay big bucks at the hair dressers to get their hair like this
A few sprays of color and you're good to go.:)

Too funny. She is adorable! My niece has hair like that and now that she is an adult, she gets it straightened!

I can sympathize! My hair is curly and this is every morning for me too. I'm 27 and still don't have a solution!

My sister's three girls have hair like your daughter's. She used a pick for their hair. Do they still make "No More Tangles" conditioning spray? My sis also used that, but that was about 10 years ago...her youngest is 13 years now. :-)

I'm just surfing and found this photo
of your little girl. She is beautiful!
I had 2 little girls with hair like that - though one was a brunette. They are almost 50 years old now and I miss those little girls.

The above comment is mine. Somehow I messed up when I identified myself.

I don't even bother with shampoo for my daughter with curly coarse hair - I just use conditioner...I've read that conditioner has enough cleaning agents in it that you don't need shampoo which just dries the hair out anyhow...
