Toot Your Horn Tuesday - Mommy's Musicians

I have 3 sons. *sigh* They argue a lot.

But this summer, Carson, the middle child, is visiting family in Arizona. He's been gone for a week already and won't be home for 2 more. I miss him so much!
It's very strange when one of us is missing. The house feels different. But the biggest difference in this case is the noticeably reduced ARGUING! For some reason, my oldest (18 yrs) and my youngest (12 yrs) get along very well. This is surprising considering the age difference. Anyway, I'm posting a video that they made a few nights ago. They both love to sing and they did an amazing job with this song called Beauty in the Breakdown by The Scene Aesthetic (whom I had never heard of until now.) Their initial reason for making this video was to submit it to America's Got Talent YouTube competion. I think they should have won, but who am I? Just a Mom!!

Check them out if you have time. You might smile :)

If you've got something equally exciting to Toot about. Make sure you follow the directions on the left side bar to play along.

So are you ready for millions of little girls swarming your house once they make it big. They are amazing so I think you should start building a high security fence.

My little brother and I (8 years difference) used to argue A LOT. But when I went away to college, it all changed. We're the best of friends now. Sometimes, all we need is a little space. :)

Haha, I have two older sister and me and the middle one always argued the most growing up, too! We're 100% best friend now though...guess mom was right : )

Your sons have such BEAUTIFUL singing voices! You must be so proud of them. I can't even imagine how proud I'll be when my son gets to be that old. He's only 23 months now, but I am already realizing that time flies. I'm going to cherish every single day I get with him.

Thank you for hosting this linky party every week. I love being a part of linkies and getting to know other people through them. It's so much fun.

Blessings to you!
Love,
Laura

They are really good! :D

That was the first time I have heard that song..I have seen the name around, but thought it was just a cover of Imogen Heap's Let Go, which has that line in it (Beauty in the Breakdown.) It's wayy different, though, lol!
