If you're new here, make sure you read the rules for Toot Your Horn Tuesday on the left side of my page. I decided a couple years ago, that I didn't get enough respect as a stay at home mom. There's no boss patting me on the back when I finish 5 loads of laundry or scrubbing a toilet! How about you?! Is there something you would like credit for?
...in the meantime, I started a job, so now I do the laundry, scrub the toilets and go to work! Which has left me with little time to write a blog. But then again....I probably have the time somewhere and I'm going to make a bigger effort to keep this thing going!!
So, what to blog about?......
Actually have a few cool things to toot about!

1. I splurged and bought a new DSLR camera!!! I'm officially taking up photography as a hobby!!
I've had many compliments, so lets see where this thing goes! Here's my first photo shoot. Of course, it's my daughter! She had her hair done for the first time ever (beside mommy.) A cute little children's salon called Pigtails and Crewcuts. She loved it and we will most definitely be going back. Maybe there's one in your town!

This is my daughter getting tired of the "photo shoot."

2. The second Toot of the day is that as of last week, we are REMODELING our kitchen! Well, actually, we are paying someone else to remodel our kitchen. No walls coming down, but we'll be putting in all new cabinets, counter tops and flooring. I will be doing the painting myself and of course I will post pictures along the way. Week one consisted of gutting it and reworking the plumbing and electrical. This week was suppose to be the big install, but guess what....the cabinets delivery has been delayed until next week! We are now in stall mode. May do some of the painting while we wait.

That's all for me today! Now it's your turn. When posting to Mr. Linky, please keep your title short! When in doubt....read the rules on the left side bar!!
Merry Tuesday Everyone!

I just got my first DSLR camera, too. Unfortunately I have no clue how to use it in manual mode yet, but I still love it. :)

Thanks for hosting this linky, it's very nice of you.
