Toot Your Horn Tuesday - 2nd Edition

I'm so excited that it's Tuesday. Another chance to let all the flaws fall away and all of our strengths shine!

First of all, I've pushed through my newly developed allergies. I still felt crudy most of the week, but the house got cleaned!

Other things I accomplished:

I balanced the checkbook, paid the bills, mailed a few notes to friends, volunteered at the elementary school, completed one home improvement project, kept my garden watered, had lots of play time with Glynis, drove the boys to several activities and went grocery shopping.

And that's just the short list. I really am Super Mom!

I'm most pleased with myself for signing up with my husband for the couples Bible study Fireproof My Marriage.
It's only been a week, but we've both taken it very seriously. Make sure you check out the movie! Fireproof

Now here's where you sign up to play Toot Your Horn Tuesday. Write a "boastful" post about yourself and use the code on my sidebar to include that cute little "Toot" button. Then sign the Mister Linky with the correct link to take us directly to your Tooty post. Don't forget to comment here and on the other players' blogs. Have fun!

Love the Toot Your Horn Tuesday! I had a 4 day weekend that went way too fast. I did get a psych evaluation report written, all my emails processed, the dog bathed, and overdue phone calls made. Most of all, my husbaned and I started a new book (we read together every evening) call God Wants to Save Christians. I'm about to get in the shower to get ready for work. Thanks for letting me toot my horn.

Sounds like a great week!! I am certainly impressed. :) I wish my church would do the Fireproof Your Marriage study - I would love to sign up for that with Hubby!! I definitely want to rent the movie. I have heard so many wonderful things about it.

You got way more done that I did.

I got laundry done and went to church. That's about all I did. I think I've either got allergies that I've never had before or just a bad head cold.

Got stuff to do today though. I'm confident I will do at least one thing on my list.

Blessings

I think "Toot Your Horn Tuesday" is a great idea!! How wonderful to share all the great things we have accomplished!
As for my week, I only got teary eyed once today while dropping Levi off for his first day of summer school! I was pleasantly surprised by that! I thought I would bawl! I have also gotten my two little monsters to start eating more vegetable and fresh fruits!! That's a major feat at my house and I'm so happy they have started to actually enjoy eating those things!!

Thank for inviting me over!!

Agreed, congrats on a wonderful week! And thanks for inviting me to "Toot Your Horn Tuesday"!

I am not sure if today's post quite qualifies at "tooting my horn," but you can do worse than spend a week in Greece! Please do check it out at http://theunplasticlife.blogspot.com. Have a great day!

I saw the movie Fireproof and bought the book. I would love to go to a bible study about Fireproofing our marriage. I think that would be great for us.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog again and reminding me about Toot Your Horn Tuesday. I decided to join in this week, although my post is a little different:)

My husband and I also saw Fireproof and really loved the message. I think that's really neat that you have a bible study about it!

Have a great week!

Love Fireproof! I just finished a Bible study on Created to be His Help Meet. It was really great and I learned a lot. I can't say that I follow all of it but I am taking steps to notice what I am doing and saying more.

And tooting my own horn. I have gotten my dishes done every day (except today). And I have made a headway in my laundry pile. I also got all of the laundry in the baskets folded AND put away all while having little one on 16 hours of dialysis a day.

And on that note, I got my little one to the hospital in time. I followed my instincts and listened to God and got him in before the infection could get really serious. YAY! We're home now and he's happy as can be.
